After cleansing and toning, the next step is moisturizing. Finding a good face cream is extremely important as with the wrong cream your skin will look oily or flaky or even worse, you might break out in spots.
If you have oily or combination skin, a light oil free moisturizer is probably enough. La Roche-Posey have some really nice mattifying creams which work well with this skin type and that is what I use. I can’t recommend this brand highly enough. Their products work well and are very affordable.
On the other hand, if you have dry skin or are a little older, you would probably be better off with a heavier, richer face cream, especially at night.
After moisturizing in the morning, don’t forget to apply sunscreen to protect your skin during the day or try a moisturizer with added sunscreen (SPF 30+ is good) like the Olay Professional day cream.
